Obituary of Blair Claybourne

December 22, 1942 – Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

April 18, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

 

Blaine Claybourne, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 81 years.

 

He served eight years in the Armed Forces in the Lady Patricia Regiment. During that time, in Germany and the Middle East, Blaine served in the Peace Corps. He was also an avid skier and history buff.

 

Besides his loving wife Darlene, Blaine is survived by his children, Noelle Henderson, Holly Latam, and Yan Cassell Fournier; and five grandchildren. He was also survived by his sister Rochelle Mainville, niece Leah Mainville, nephew John Mainville, and three grandnephews.

 

Blaine was predeceased by his mother Catherine, father Marshall, and brother Thane.

 

A service for Blaine will be held at a later date.
