  7. Preston C. McMaster :

When you first came up in my mother’s conversations about seeing someone new I was very opposed but as time went on and we stayed under the same roof I grew onto you entrusted in you. We shared stories, drinks and adventures that made us even closer in those two years when I was your crazy son. You always called me son but I slowly got used to because it wasn’t you trying to bug me. It was out of the kindness of accepting me as one of your own and that I slowly did. Now as it was your time to be sent home I have lost a father that I happily and humbly shared time with and also your grandchildren Frances, Victoria, and baby David will dearly miss you. You were very kind and understanding father, grandfather, and friend and even a very good friend of my dad James which some found weird but as I understood as taking care of each other as brothers do that’s how humble his heart was. We’ve lost a proud, humble, friendly, inviting member of the nation that cannot be replaced we miss you very much Kirb but we know your in a good place where the Gates Opened your welcome as you did to others. R.I.P. my dear step-father until we meet again.
