WUTZKE, Darrell Melton

January 8, 1960 – Medicine Hat, Alberta
April 15, 2018 – Calgary , Alberta

Darrell beloved husband of Dawn Wutzke of Calgary, left the world at 4:20 am on April 15, 2018 at the age of 58 years.

A family man and a hard worker are both vast understatements to anyone who knew the man Darrell truly was! One of only 8000 people to ever be awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal from 1905-2005 in recognition of over 2 decades volunteer work at the Forest Heights Community Centre.

He worked a lifetime career at the City of Calgary to provide for his family and make the world a better place at the same time. A life-long angler who found joy in camping and spending holidays with loved ones.

Today we celebrate, as Darrell lives on through the loving memories of his family and friends.

Besides his loving wife, Dawn, Darrell is survived by sons Dan, Chris, and Jacob; his parents Melton and Ethel; brother Vern, and sister Debbie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
