WONG, Kyaw Htun (David)

April 20, 1949 – June 13, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta  


David Wong, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on June 13, 2018 at the age of 69 years.

David is survived by his wife of 44 years, Than Wong; two daughters and their husbands Angelina Wong and Philip Crocker, Gloria Wong and Richard Fisher; five grandchildren, Chloe Crocker, Annabel Fisher, Gabriella Crocker, David Fisher and Ella Fisher; his father Robert Wong; his siblings Julia Aye Myint and her husband  Kenneth, Bella Leong and her husband Bobby, Eddie Wong and his wife Eileen; nieces and nephews, Lawrence Leong and his wife Aileen, Wilfred Wong and his wife Elaine, Laurabel Leong and her husband LeVar Braithwaite, Tiffany Hearst and her husband Brad; grand nieces and nephews, Marcus, Malcolm and Marcello Leong, Abigail and Sophia Wong and Dominic Hearst. David was predeceased by his mother Betty Chow Howe and brother Jimmy Wong.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
