WILSON, Kathy Anne (nee Davidson)

October 23, 1955 – Calgary, Alberta
May 17, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Kathy Anne Wilson, beloved wife of Lawrence (Larry) Wilson, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the age of 62 years.

Kathy was the wife and best friend to Lawrence (Larry) Wilson (Retired CPS) for over forty-three years; proud Mom to Scott (Christine) and David (Amanda); and even prouder Grandma to four grandsons, Aaron, Zack, Boyd and Walter; sister to Susan (Peter), Laurie (Randy), Barbara and John (Kelly); sister-in-law to Lorrene (Cliff), Mark (Anne Marie) and Blair (Lynn). She was predeceased by her parents, Detective Boyd Davidson (killed in the line of duty) and his wife Donna; fabulous in-laws Carl and Edna Wilson, and sister-in-law Linda.

Kathy was very actively involved in the city she loved and all it had to offer: Cub Scouts, Little League Baseball, STARS, Soccer, The Olympics, Kinsmen Club, The Police Memorial and the Sawyer Silverado Condo Board.

As per her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service and kindly request no flowers. Instead take a moment each and every day to find something to smile about. Speak to a stranger and tell the people you love that you indeed do love them. Life is too short not to. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

Dear Larry and family. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with Kathy and know that future visits will be in our hearts. I so enjoyed her friendship as well as her professionalism during my tenure with Bobtail. She built enviable relationships with all of your employees and customers. The fact that those relationships continued long after the company was sold is a testament to her kind personality and enduring loyalty. She will enjoy seeing the laughter-filled dinners and coffee dates continue. Know that we are thinking of you all.

It is hard to find the words . She was a very caring person , who would not go to Sleep at night unless she knew all her Drivers { Bobtail} were save at home that Day or Night.
Small in Stature , but oh so big in every other way. Our Heart goes out to you Larry , as well as the Boys and our next get together will be full off memories of a great Friend.

  15. Larry Wilson :

To everyone I appreciate your comments about Kathy. She was in fact one of a kind. She never had a bad word about anyone (unless they really deserved it). She always looked at the bright side trying to find something good out of everything that came along. She was my best friend for over 47 years. Thank you for the kind words. I know she appreciated each and every one of you. I have always been a person of few words but again thank you for your thoughts. Larry
