Condolence from Raymonde Berube-Mathieu on November 8th, 2017 3:31 PM

My sincere condolences to the entire family… I have had the honor of knowing both Dave and Margaret and spending time with them in North Bay, Ont… It was a pleasure to have known them both.. Dave would always greet me in there home while there for a visit with a warm hug and a “how you doing kiddo” phrase… I never forgot that he always went out of his way to make me feel at home.. Distance has been a factor in the Williams lives with me but i want you all to know that they were and always will remain in my heart forever. You are all in my heart and thoughts at this difficult time. Love always your far away friend.. Raymonde Berube -Mathieu..

It is with the utmost of sadness that I receive word of the passing of my first supervisor in the Canadian Provost Corps, former Provost Sergeant, Dave Williams, whom I served with in 4 Provost Platoon (Werl Det) in Germany in the early sixties. I have the fondest memories of him and as one of his former rookie Military Policemen whom he took in hand and directed on the path to a successful career, I am particularly touched by his passing. On behalf of all members of the Canadian
Provost Corps Association I extend my deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace old Provost. We Will Remember Him!
