WATSON, Lois Doreen (nee Granquist)

November 10, 1935 – Yorkton, Saskatchewan
July 15, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Lois, beloved wife of Dave Watson of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Hospice on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Lois was born on November 10, 1935 on the family farm near Willowbrook, SK. After completing her education Lois worked as a dental assistant in Yorkton, Regina and Calgary until her retirement. In 1977 Lois was married to Dave Watson and they made their home in Calgary. Lois enjoyed traveling with Dave and their dog and especially looked forward to spending time in Palm Springs each winter. Lois was very close to her family and kept in constant touch by phone and through numerous family reunions and visits. Lois was a wonderful person, smart, funny, and witty with a great sense of humor and a love of life.

Lois will be lovingly remembered and always missed by her husband Dave and siblings Ruby Dixon, Beatrice Fredrickson, Robert and Joan Granquist, Jack and Eleanor Granquist, Jim Granquist, and Garett and Carole Granquist as well as her many friends and extended family.

Lois was predeceased by her parents John and Signe Granquist, her brother Billy, and her sisters Betty and Jean and her brothers-in-law Mel Dixon, Vern Thompson and Reg Fredrickson.
