Richard (Rick) Wassing of Calgary, AB passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 65 years.

Rick was born in St. Boniface MB and also resided in Ontario but Alberta was his home. He loved sports of all types and enjoyed working outdoors. He worked for Good Earth Environs for twenty nine years. Rick was never married but he was never alone, He had many friends and co-workers who love him and he will be dearly missed. Cancer may have taken his body but his soul lives in each and every one of this family members and friends.

Rick is survived by his mother Henny; three brothers, Henry, John and Arnie; five sisters, Ali, Johanna, Marcia, Maria and Theresa. He was predeceased by his brother Bart and his father Arnold.

In living memory of Rick Wassing, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH, CALGARY, AB, T2E 2V6, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
