WARRINGTON, Kenneth (Ken) Allan

February 15, 1945 – September 8, 2012

Kenneth (Ken) Allan Warrington beloved husband of Cindy of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the age of 67 years.

Ken was raised on a homestead farm near Edgerton, AB and settled in Calgary after attaining a MBA degree from the University of Idaho. He worked as an economic analyst in the oil and gas field.

Besides his loving wife Cindy of forty-three years, Ken will be lovingly remembered by his children Ryan (Adine) and Matt (Lori); his granddaughter Victoria; brother Norman (Anne); and brother-in-law Phil Trainer. He was predeceased by his parents Florence and Allan Warrington and brother-in-law Richard Trainer.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at Southwood United Church (10690 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Southern Alberta Myeloma Patient Society, 364 Prominence Heights S.W. Calgary, AB T3H 2Z6 Telephone: (403) 287-7829, or directly to the family for a memorial bench in Ken’s honour to be placed in a Calgary park. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Walter Blahey and the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for twenty-seven precious years of treatment and support.
