He spent his working career in the oil industry, Irving Refining in Saint John, NB, BP in Montreal and Calgary. Harris retired from Husky Oil in Calgary. He was hugely respected for his work ethic and loyalty and he was very well liked by his peers. He was a man of amazing strength and pureness of spirit who has touched and enriched so many lives. He will be sorely missed by many.

Harris was predeceased by his parents Rupert and Jessie, and sister Elaine.

The family can’t express enough gratitude to Dr. Michael Dunham, Dr. Thomas Bouchard, hugely compassionate staff of Unit 68 SHC, ET nurses and Black Diamond home care nurses as they have become family to us.
