I met Jo when I moved to Canmore at the age of 18…we partied, played softball, went tubing at the graveyard, and many more activities that fill my memories….she was also my roommate for a time and we had a shared love of cats. I have the most special memory of her when she agreed to be my birthing coach when my son was born. I remember her saying she wasn’t sure she could do it but she did and she was brilliant! Love you Jo, rest easy now….we’re all going to miss you. Love and prayers to her family, May God comfort you in your grief.

We have all lost a friend. Joanne has always been Kind, Loving, Cheerful, and Friendly. A true Happy Sole. She mentioned years ago just weeks after the death of her Father that she believed her Dad died so he could be there to greet his Mother who passed shortly after.
I will now use her thoughts to say Joanne has passed to be there to great all of us who follow.
Rest assured we will see her smiling eyes again as she greets us hand in hand with those who met her.
Until then rest well Joanne you deserve it! We’ll miss you and think of you often.

    Love your uncle and friend!
