Condolence from Robert Volb on October 11th, 2018 12:22 PM

Sorry to hear about Trevor. As years have gone by, as cousins we have drifted apart and have not seen each other for years. Recently the Volbs had a small reunion in Drumheller and we were able to find Trevor and invite him. We were so happy he was able to make it. It was such a pleasure to reconnect after all these years. It was great to have him there as I believe he really enjoyed meeting all the relatives he has not seen for a long time or not at all. We had a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed having Trevor there. I am so happy everyone got to see their cousin and the person he was. Our Condolences to Donna, Ian and their family

Condolence from Laura Maetche on October 13th, 2018 9:57 PM

Jack and I knew Trevor for over 45 years. SO many memories! Back in the day Jack and Trevor were adventure buddies and we never tire of hearing about their escapades while quading, motorbiking, and camping. What a duo! Over the years Trevor had some difficult times and we were incredibly proud of him when he found the strength to take his life back. He showed himself, and all of us, just what he was made of. To Trevor’s family, we share in your loss and your sadness at this difficult time. Please know you are all in our thoughts and our hearts. Trev was a true and loyal friend to both of us and we will miss him. Rest easy Volbie.

Trevor knew my parents for longer than I’ve been alive! I always knew him as one of my dads closest friends and I heard a million stories about all of their crazy times together. I remember one day he came over to our house just to help me fix my printer, he was always so kind. Recently I was reading over some of my Grandpa, Frank Gee’s, poems and he had written a great one in honour of Trevor years ago. Everyone just loved Trevor and I know he will be missed.

Condolence from Cathy Kayter on October 15th, 2018 10:31 AM

So sorry to hear of Trevors passing
We were good friends long ago. He was always such a sweet and sensitive guy .
Like the rest of the boys he could be quite the adventurer, taking off on his motorcycle to parts unknown. Although I haven’t seen much of him these past few years I remember him fondly and well and always will.
My deepest condolences to his family
He will be missed
Safe travels my friend, I’m sure you’re back on your bike spinning wheelies in heaven by now

I have many fond memories of my friend Trevor.Living with him in the Parkdale area of Calgary for 4-5 years was always a fun adventure . Big parties , helloweens , going out to recreational vehicle park , playing mixed beer ball at the park are just a few,
.Then visiting him in his home in Bowness years later . He was a true friend who I wish I had reconnected with and thought I would eventually , but time waits for no one , and it got the better of us .Rip , Buddy .
