VANDER BURGH, Maureen Isobelle

 October 20, 1954 -Regina, Saskatchewan

September 11, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Maureen beloved wife of William (Bill) Vander Burgh of Calgary, AB, passed away on September 11, 2018 at the age of 63 years.

Dedicated to her work, Maureen spent thirty-six and a half years in the oil and gas industry. She enjoyed volunteering at the Children’s Hospital and the Calgary Stampede. Maureen travelled the world with her husband Bill. She was also a terrific seamstress, sewing numerous outfits for herself.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband Bill and son Kyle; mother Ruby Wardle; sister and brother in law Sharon and Doug Woodhouse; brother and sister in law Brad and Denise Yandt all of Calgary. She is also survived by numerous extended family.

Maureen was predeceased by her father Lionel Yandt in 1985.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    Bill, Ruby, Sharon and Brad – so sorry to hear that Maureen passed away so young. She was there on the first day I started at PanCanadian, and I used to chat with her over the years. I actually did not recognize her on that day in 1974, as I had moved and had not seen her for over 10 years. But she was a wonderful person and I know that she will be missed.
