ULLMAN, Dorothy Amelia

May 15, 1931 – Asquith, Saskatchewan
July 16, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Dorothy Ullman, beloved wife of Kenneth of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the age of 87 years.

After 22 years with the Royal Bank of Canada Dot retired in 1986; she and Ken travelled extensively around Canada with the Rain or Shine RV Club. They also enjoyed many cruises and bus trips around the world with their friends and family. Dot was an active member of the Family Leisure Seniors organization. Dot was an accomplished painter and sold many paintings while a member of the Brushstrokes Group. She was also a very active gardener, with the most beautiful begonias and roses in her yard.

Besides her loving husband, Dorothy is survived by her children and their spouses, Dayle Honer, Dick and Kim Symon, Lois Anson and Gerry Smith, Donna and Larry Benner, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents James and Amy Lake, brothers Tom, Don, Jack and Mary and Kenneth Lake.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
