Here’s to one of the strongest women I know ! Enjoying some coconut shrimp in her honour. To the woman who made the best cookies and let us eat as many as we wanted, to the woman who always let us lick from the icing bowl, to the woman who would always play board games with us and teach us the tricks to winning, to the woman who never doubted what we were capable of, to the woman who framed every drawing and report card because she was so proud, to the woman who always encouraged our dreams and passions, to the woman who brought food to the “homeless” people on the streets, to the woman who would make fudge for the grocery cashiers at the store and buy brooches from Macy’s for the waitresses at her favourite restaurants, to the woman who loved my daughter beyond measure… you are so much more than all of these moments and will always have a place in our heart forever and always . ❤️ we love you forever and always.

    Dear Craighton and family,
We were very sad to hear of Irene’s passing and want you to know that we have been thinking of you, Craighton, and your family ever since we heard. Sorry we haven’t been in touch sooner but we’ve been on a ship travelling from Japan back here. Irene was a special lady and a good friend and Elliott always had a good chuckle when she would remind him that she helped “babysit” him when he was a kid, even though he’s only two years younger. She will be sadly missed by so many. Our prayers are with you all! Our sincerest condolences, Geri and Elliott Urquhart
