Helen Eileen Tober passed away on March 7, 2019 at the age of 73 years following a challenging journey with diabetes.

Helen’s priority throughout her entire life was her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, a wonderful mother and caring friend. She enjoyed spending time on family vacations and time with close friends and relatives. During the later part of her life, she approached her health challenges with unwavering determination, strength and courage.

Helen is survived by her loving children Cheryl, Kathy and Kevin (Kim); cherished grandchildren Rosalynn, Michael, Colten, Shelby and Austin; her great-grandchildren and her cherished grand-pets. Helen is also survived by her brother Donald Schmidt (Esther), brother-in-law Fred Tober (Margaret) and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by the love of her life, Sig Tober on March 19, 2015, of which they spent fifty-three years building their life, family and business together.

A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation through https://www.albertadiabetesfoundation.com Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
