THIESSEN, Pamela Anne

November 7, 1956 – April 7, 2018

Pamela, beloved wife of David Thiessen passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on April 7, 2018 at the age of 61 years.

As a woman of great faith, Pamela worked alongside her husband in ministry where she oversaw children’s programming, sang for the church, and also served as President of Women’s Ministries. Over a span of 33 years, Pamela worked as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator in the provinces of Ontario and Alberta, and was Director of Christian Horizons in South River, Ontario. A loving, brave, and inspirational woman, Pamela will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and former colleagues across Canada. She bravely fought cancer for nine years with dignity and grace.

Pamela is survived by her four children, three sons, Daniel, Matthew, and Michael; her daughter, Janice and her husband Paul; as well her two grandsons Samuel and Liam. Predeceased by her brother David and her sister Laura. Born to Clifford and Gwen Rutledge and chosen by Mel & Effie Baker and family. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Ken, Hugh, Gord, Julie, and Sue. Cherished by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, AB) on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Friday, April 13 at 10:30 am with a reception to follow. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
