  3. Dear Jeanine and family,
I was sorry to hear that Yosh had passed away. You had many years together. Though we haven’t seen each other in years I have memories of those days in Lethbridge when we worked together at the same law firm and you helped me learn to knit! I hope you can feel peace and comfort now surrounded by family.
    With sincere sympathy.

  4. Phyllis Terakita :

Auntie Yoko, Shelley, Barry & Lisa:
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Yosh’s passing. I know how much you all depended on him; just like we did with Dad. Uncle Yosh was such a great role model for all of us – worked hard, always took care of his family – all the Terakitas learned that from Ge-chan (Masao) and live/lived it every day. We will miss Uncle Yosh dearly, as we do the others. I know it will be hard – there isn’t a day that I don’t think of my Dad and miss him terribly. As Jo, Carol & I often say, we are so fortunate to be Terakitas.
    Thinking of you today,
    Love Kiyo

  5. Mary Saruwatari :

    Dear Jeanine and family,
My deep sympathy to you all in the death of your beloved Yosh, husband, father, grandfather, friend. What a shock to learn from Kathy and Richard who were here for his Uncle Tom’s funeral.
Though he is physically gone, I know his spirit will be ever with you all as he joins loved ones.
May the remembrance of all the happy/sad times help ease the pain in your hearts. I have known Yosh and the Terakita family since the evacuation days, and have many fond memories of time spent with the them and of course, the Mura family as well.
    Love and prayers, Mary Saruwatari
