Agnes Judit Temesvary passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Agnes was known for her caring nature, her understanding of people, and her brilliant mind. She was born in Budapest, Hungary, on September 29, 1944. She attended Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest and graduated as a classically trained psychologist. Over the years, she devoted her professional life to continuous learning as a mental health professional, seeking ongoing training and mentoring young psychologists along the way.

Agnes completed an additional master’s degree and embarked on a fulfilling career at Alberta Mental Health where she worked from 1986 until her retirement in 2014. She improved the lives of countless patients through her care, compassion, and expertise. In addition, she forged many lifelong relationships with colleagues that brought her tremendous joy.

She is survived by Zoltan, her loving husband of 45 years, her daughter Agnes Dallison (Kirk), and her two beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Jessica.
