TAYLOR, (Beverley) Dianne

June 14, 1944 – March 21, 2016

A Life That Speaks For Itself

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of (Beverley) Dianne Taylor on March 21, 2016.

Dianne was born June 14, 1944 and was raised in Calgary, Alberta where she lived most of her life other than three years in Southern California. In her most recent years she had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii, Mexico, extensively through Europe, and especially enjoyed Germany. Dianne’s passion in life was raising her two daughters and any and all activities that centered around family. She loved all things beautiful and was known especially for her flair of design. This love of design lit up every area of her life and inspired those around her. Dianne’s charismatic personality and her statuesque presence made her undeniably memorable wherever she went. She always conducted herself with class and a zest for life, and had a special love for music. Among her many vocations was Head Hostess at Hy’s Steak House, Accounts Manager at CIBC, Design Consultant at Wen-Di Interior’s, and had the savvy to create her own silk floral design business for a season of her life.

Dianne is survived by her loving partner Fred Beer; daughters Dana Taylor and Tara Hassett (Dwayne Hassett); two grandchildren Paige Taylor (15), and Ryan Hassett (9); sisters Donna Morgan, Valerie Million (Russ Acheson), nephew Brett Million, niece Brittany Million, and many relatives and friends. Dianne was predeceased by her parents Jean Stedman (2000), Joe Stedman (2002), and nephew Christopher Miller (2005).

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Dianne’s viewing at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

A Celebration of Dianne’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolence Messages

  1. Who would have thought I would be celebrating with sadness, three deaths on this Easter weekend. Jesus,, my son Wylie Craig four years ago and now my longest friend. Our Moms worked together at the Big Chief Coffee Shop on 17th Ave S.W. before they were married so Diane, Val and Donna and I knew and played together since birth. Diane and I were a year apart so grew closer. I am so glad I shared flowers, and time with you my friend, while we struggled at times and lived on this planet. True friends, listening to the other when the need was there. Laughing out loud and not caring if we were in a restaurant. How I will miss your smile and caring soul. Rest my friend, it is your time, in His timing for you. Till we meet again, Love Harolyn Long, Wayne and Denton Craig, Creston and Calgary
