STEWARD, Frances

April 11, 1932 – Liverpool, England
June 27, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Frances Steward of Calgary, on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the age of 87 years.

Frances was born in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1966.

Frances lived a good life, enjoying her five granddaughters and three great-grandchildren and playing Bingo every chance she could.

Frances will be greatly missed by her four daughters, Carol (Bob), Pauline (Jeff), Rose (Bob) and Tina (Mike); her sisters, May, Lily, Josie (Robbie) and their families; two sisters-in-law, Jackie (Jeff) and Rose; and their families and her long time friend Ida.

Frances was predeceased by her husband Albert and her grandson David Gillies.

A Private Family Gathering will be held in Lethbridge. Condolences may be forwarded through www.McInnisandHolloway.com.

The family would like to thank the Clover staff at Cedars Villa and the Millrise SLU Staff for the kindness shown to their mother the past few years and to Dr. Roberta Clarkson and staff at Rockyview General Hospital.

In living memory of Frances Steward, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB, T2X 3J3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.

Frances was so welcoming to us when we arrived in Ft. McMurray. When Bill was in Calgary one time she and Mike invited him to their place and made him a meal of ‘scouse’. She was a lovely lady. Our sincere condolences.
