I’ll miss Alex. He’d made my day when he came in for his appointment. I always booked extra time for him (and me) so that we could have a little visit and a laugh. A great guy!

My deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one. He was sadly missed by the residents of Beacon Hill when he moved away from Beacon Hill several years ago and we are saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great neighbor and friend to all of us here and he was always there to lend a helping hand wherever he could. Memories last forever……

  5. I first met Alex in 1975 when I moved onto Willard Rd. SE. I had many enjoyable times with Alex while volunteering at the Police Booth in Southcentre and later with the traffic department in NW Calgary. We later depended on a biweekly cup of coffee (always at Timmies) to keep in touch — started in Avenida when we were both mobile and more recently @ 130 ave. Many fond memories which I will treasure forever.

  6. Howie, I have just come across your dad’s obituary. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I have lots of memories of our years at Tri-Line Expressways. In fact, I have special memories of all those whom I worked with. Please accept my deepest condolences. I would love to meet you and Gail to reminiscence over our times at work. I have often wondered how both of you were doing. I am still living in my home.
