    Dear Carol and family
I was indeed lucky to have spent 3 years teaching at Rideau Park with Al. He was a wonderful role model for those of us teaching with him as well as to the students. Donna and I were so very lucky to get to know Al and Carol on a personal basis at that time. We had planned to attend the memorial service on the 13’th but unfortunately an urgent family matter requires us to be out of town at that time. We will be thinking of you all at the time of the service. God bless .
    John and Donna

Dear Carole, We had to leave a bit early before we could get through the reception line but we wanted to let you know that Al’s funeral yesterday was such a wonderful tribute from his loving family. We admired the tributes so much. They gave such an excellent slant to his life and although we didn’t know him well, we can see how he touched everyone’s life with such humour, kindness and dignity. We know that will continue on through the lives of you all, sincerely, Pat and Doug

  7. I was sorry to learn just recently that Al had passed. Although I only taught at Rideau for 4 years, I have many fond memories of that time and of the tireless energy that Al expended to offer support to both the teachers and the students.

    Thinking of you,
