  4. Elsa and Carla Skirten :

Mom and I were so saddened by the news. Barb’s ability to defy the odds, conquer any set backs, and keep on going with a cheerful spirit was an inspiring example to all. We always enjoyed her ‘just checking in’ phone chats and her excursion up dates. Her infectious laughter really will be missed. Big, big hugs to the family with love from Elsa and Carla.

  5. Susan Epton :

To the family of Barb Skirten. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.
Barb was one of the first ladies I met when I joined the Tai Chi group at Triwood Community in 2015. I remember well how very welcoming, and pleasant she was to me at that time.
I always admired Barb; especially her positive, cheerful attitude and stalwart stance in the face of many health issues. She indeed possessed great mettle. We will miss her.

  6. Christine Kelln :

I will miss Barb and all our chats over the phone and in person when I came by with her orders. She was always thinking of her friends with kindness and happy to order for them and arrange things to suit – making sure I gave my very best service to her! I noticed the warrior she was in every set back with her health as she fought on and got home again and well. I am sad for you all and for myself in not seeing her again until I get to heaven. Love to you all and thank you for sharing Barb with me!
    Christine
