  7. I count myself extremely lucky to have known John, and I am so saddened over his passing. Jane was my closest friend as a teenager, and I pretty much lived at his house for years. I had never felt so welcomed as I did in the Siegers’ home. John was so warm and so kind; he and Anne always treated me like family. And I honestly still crack up on the regular, thinking of his hilarious antics and sense of humour. He was one of a kind, a truly bright spirit that brought a smile to everyone that knew him. My heart aches for his family, but I hope that memories of Johns warmth and legendary sense of humour will get you all through this, together. I love you guys.

  9. Anne – our hearts go out to you & Pat & all your family. Stella & I remember visiting you at home right after Patricia was born. Johnny came home after a long shift with both arms full of groceries. The other girls ran squealing with delight into the kitchen yelling “treats!” & he said ” yea, but you have to have your supper first”! The girls jumped up on him & with his usual big smile he said – “ok,ok,ok ” he gave them some sort of fruit saying “you gotta eat your supper & then treats” Look how tall, healthy and beautiful your girls are. (Maybe Stella & I should have eaten our supper first??? ) May all your fun wonderful memories bring your peace. Love Stella & Judy ❤️1

  11. To the Siegers and extended family:

First and foremost I am deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of such an amazing soul, Johnny Siegers. Your family has been nothing but amazing to me as I grew up along side Patricia. I am so grateful that I am apart of a truly amazing group of people who love one another, through thick and thin. Your family has shown me a tremendous amount of support through my own loss and struggles and I can’t say thank you enough for your kindness and love. Johnny will forever and rightfully so be remembered as a fun loving, caring, and out going guy. All my memories of Johnny are nothing but warm and happy. Johnny and Anne raised four amazing women who have taught me so much growing up and I’m so happy to say that we’ve been able to grow up together. Patricia: You are forever a best friend to me. Words cannot express how much I love and care for you and your family. You’re an amazing woman and I know that through this loss you will find strength. Please know that I understand your pain and will always be someone you can count on in times of need, and in times of joy. Our friendship grows even deeper because of this common loss and I truly believe it is the universe showing us how close we really are. You and Johnny were not only father and daughter but also great friends and I am happy to have watched your relationship grow and become stronger than ever. Love you guys, always!
