Condolences for the family of “SCHROEDER, Simone Annette”

Condolence from Sean P Conley on December 15th, 2017 10:04 AM

It is with a deep sense of sadness I write this for a dear friend, collegeau and an outstanding person. Rarely do business and friendship mix, yet I was lucky to work with and to get to know Simone. What a spark of light and a true gift to all of us.
Plus a very fine golfer!
I am in Chicago and was on the same team with Simone for a number of years during a very turbulent and difficult time in our history. She was a trusted advisor, intelligent and thoughtful co-worker and one of our best and brightest!
How difficult it is to have another dear soul gone from us and I still feel the heartache from the loss of my Brother a few months ago. As we believe, death is only a gateway to an eternity in our Lord’s glorious light and peace and I am assured by Faith Simone is now part of this as is her just reward for a Life of Love.
I will remember her always in my Prayers and Holy Communion thanksgiving.

Condolence from Kirsten Tschofen on December 15th, 2017 12:40 PM

To all of Simone’s family, my heartfelt condolences. I had the privilege to get to know Simone when I taught Gabrielle and JJ. Her deep love for her children shone through every conversation we had. I was always impressed by her approach to parenting (and confess to seeing her as a role model in this regard). This is such a tragic loss for you all Christian, Gabrielle and JJ, but I know your mom will be with you always.

Condolence from Cheryl Worthy on December 15th, 2017 3:17 PM

It is with a heavy heart I write this note. I worked with Simone for a number of years and in a number of different capacities at BP and over that time we became friends. She was a beautiful person and I cannot think of anything that demonstrated more dramatically her commitment to her family and to excellence in life then the way she fought her cancer. She was so strong and so courageous. May she now truly Rest In Peace in the arms of the Father in heaven.
Johnathon … Steve and I send you and the family our most heartfelt condolences . She will be missed and remembered by many as having gone far too soon.

Condolence from Famille Collazos Quessy on December 17th, 2017 1:38 PM

We are sharing in your sorrow with friendship and support. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.
Our thoughts are with you Jonathan, Christian, Gabrielle and JJ during this difficult time. Please always remember that we are here for you during this time of need.
In our hearts she will remain
With love
Juan Pablo, Carmen, Manuel Felipe & Stéphanie

Dear Jonathan, Christian, Gabrielle and JJ.
We are so sad to hear that Simone, a beautiful wife, mother and friend, lost her fight against the disease that strikes blindlessly across our globe.
She was one of the most loving persons we have ever met and she will forever have a place in our hearts. We have our memories of many fantastic meetings, both over there and over here in Europe and no one can take that away!
We hope that you all will be together for the coming holidays and that you will find strength in your precious memories of Simone and peace in knowing that she is in a better place where her suffering has ended. Always remember that you are her most precious treasure.
Love, Cissi & Pelle

I was so sorry to hear of Simone’s passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Simone and her family for many years when her children attended elementary school. She was always kind, friendly and generously donated her time when she could to volunteer at the school. I so enjoyed our many chats and she always talked about her family and especially her children. My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to Jonathan, Christian, Gabrielle and JJ. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May the care of family and friends bring you comfort, and may loving memories heal your heart.

Condolence from Maureen McGregor on December 18th, 2017 11:56 AM

Dear Jonathan,
Full of sadness and in fond memory of Simone, I’m writing this note to you. I worked briefly (we were in different departments) with Simone at BP many years ago. She made a lasting impression on me as an incredibly wonderful person, mom and colleague, a joy to work with. Simone excelled in focusing on the important elements of life (& work) with grace and intense integrity.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. May your cherished memories bring you comfort and peace of heart, now and through the days ahead.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Condolence from George Andrews on December 18th, 2017 1:32 PM

My prayers and deepest sympathy to Jonathan, Christian, Gabrielle and JJ.

Simone was part of a group that connected over cold coffee and pre exam stress and post exam jubilation while at the U of A. Simone always had a spark to bring a group together and see the fun in almost everything. I have and will continue to think fondly of those years. While I know the world is better for her being here it is still such a sad loss.

We were deeply saddened to learn about Simone’s passing and we want to offer our most sincere condolences. You and the family are in our thoughts during this time.

We are sorry to hear of Simone’s passing. We had the pleasure of getting to know her through her kind and determined heart in the way she handled herself at work on the BP trade floor and her family life.

She had such a great smile and openly cared about those around her.

Her positive attitude and resolve over the past has been an inspiration to all of us.

In loving memory of an outstanding individual.

Condolence from Dave Schroeder on December 21st, 2017 9:31 AM

Hi Jon! What a shocker for me when Tim Jerhoff informed me of Simone’s passing. I was not aware of things living up here in the hills and spending almost all of my time on the farm. I hope you and the kids (well they’re not kids anymore) are handling & coping with things okay. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to lean on me or Kandice, we have broad shoulders. Kandice, Austin, Bryant & myself certainly wish to express our condolences to you and the kids. Stay well Jonathan.

Condolence from Jean O’Neill on December 24th, 2017 11:55 AM

To Simone’s family & all of us who knew & love Simone.
I know no words that can express the emptiness left within me with Simone passing. I do find much comfort in my memories of her. I am indeed very blessed to have many heart warming conversations & activities with her during our “brief” times together, I would loved to have had more time with her- I am grateful that she became part of my life, may our memories remain.
Hugs to all/Jean O’neill

Condolence from Sarah Taillon on December 28th, 2017 9:55 PM

It’s been too much of a long time without communication. And I hate that something so sad has to be the reason to reach out now. I heard through mutual friends and I send all my thoughts, prayers and condolences. Simone always welcomed me, and everyone with open arms and treated me like part of the family. I will never forget that. Writing a condolence letter to you feels so strange. I am really sorry for your loss. Please know how much Simone is loved by everyone she’d even laid eyes on.

Condolence from Katherine Curtis on January 3rd, 2018 6:47 PM
