  7. Wayne was the most supportive and fair boss I ever had the pleasure to work for. He was the “go-to guy” for any problems I ever had. His decisions impacted hundreds of lives at First Canada and he was always fair. I feel privileged to have known him. My sincere condolences to Ruth Ann, Stacy, Chris and the entire Scaddan family.

  8. The Scaddans were our next door neighbours in Saskatoon for many years. We were truly fortunate to have them next door and we have a lot of fond memories of those childhood days.

We were younger than Wayne and Lloyd, but they were always friendly to us. I’ll never forget that whenever we would see them playing catch outside, my brother Patrick, my sister Linda, and I would go and ask if we could play catch with them. The poor guys couldn’t get away with just enjoying a nice game of catch without us bugging them! They never told us to ‘get lost’ or to quit bugging them! Great family!

My very first car was a Vauxhall that they used to drive, and it was really something to see the car in their driveway and not know that years later, I would be the one driving it.

All of the Scaddans were so kind to us; Mr. and Mrs. Scaddan had very caring hearts and our late mother really enjoyed their friendship as well.
Many years have passed, but we will always remember the good memories of them as friends, and as neighbours.

    Sincerely,
    Linda and Ken Kolynchuk

  11. My sincere condolences to Ruth Anne and family, I got to know Wayne when we worked for him at kearl lake. Over the years we had a great working relationship and a true respect for each other. One of the things I truly admired about Wayne is you knew where you stood with him, and he called it the way he seen it. Rest in peace Wayne.

  22. I found myself to be fortunate enough to have worked with Wayne years ago. I could never say enough or explain how lucky we all were to have been blessed by his presence. Wayne’s wits and sense of humour made him unlike any other individual I’d ever met and made him a one of a kind friend, coworker and boss. I’ll never forget everything he has taught me and how much his ambitions and positive encouragement pushed me to be a 1000 times better than I ever could have been. My life and my family’s life flourished due to this mans ability to bring the best out of me and everyone around me. With heavy heart, my condolences go out to his family and other friends over the loss of such a great man.

Rest In Peace My friend and one day we will meet again across the river.
