SAWATSKY, Sylvia Addie

December 20, 1925 – New Richmond, Quebec
June 29, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Sylvia passed away on June 29, 2018 at the age of 92 years.

Sylvia was predeceased by her loving husband of seventy years, Jacob, June 30, 2014.

Sylvia Contributed to the war effort during WW2 working in factories. She was an Air Force wife and homemaker, raising two children, with her family being very important. Knitting, crocheting, home canning, Family was number one. Three words that sum up Sylvia’s life are Family most important.

Sylvia is survived by her children Carol Agerbak of Calgary, Robert Sawatsky of Red Deer; grandchildren Allan Agerbak of Whitemud, MB, Debra Converse of Calgary, Rick Sawatsky of Kelowna, Kelly Sawatsky of Vernon, Kyle Sawatsky of Kitchener; great-grandchildren Tyler and Faith Agerbak, Sean, Riley, and Rawson Converse, Avery and Maisy Sawatsky; siblings Archie and Elsie Willett of New Richmond, Diane Willett of Toronto; and Numerous nieces and nephews, pet Bailey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Watergrove Mobile Park Clubhouse (99 Arbour Lake Road NW), on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to thank Dr. Joyce and staff, Dementia Care Team, Foothills Hospital, Bowcrest Care Centre and staff.
