SAVAGE, Linda Sharon (nee Gottschalk)

April 29, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Linda Savage of Calgary, beloved wife of David Savage for 51 years, passed away on April 29, 2018 at the age of 69 years.

Linda was a caring soul who, together with Dave, brought family together often. She poured love and energy into her beautiful gardens, animals, and her precious crystal/rock collection. She made Christmas time extra special for her family each and every year. After raising her three children she went back to school, graduated with honours, and started a career in Energy which she continued to grow until she retired in 2015.

Linda is survived by her mother Beatrice Selinger (nee Derr), three daughters Ninette (Gordie), Stacey (Craig) and Tami, her sisters and best friends Lorrie and Michele. She also leaves behind grandchildren Maddi, Tanner, Jaxan, great grandchild Slade, nieces Tracy, Dolly, Amanda, Lisa and Jennifer, and numerous extended family and friends.

Linda is predeceased by her first daughter Karie, father Harry Gottschalk and stepfather John Selinger.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Linda at a future date. She always found the time to help others & sharing her knowledge. Linda treated everyone equally & I admired her so much for that. Always a person to help where she could, even if just sharing her wisdom, which I greatly enjoyed hearing and will never forget.
