  8. Dearest Lindy, thank you for your support and love of my big brother. He was so lucky to have you in his life. My girls loved their dinners at Boston Pizza whenever their Uncle Al came to town, and they appreciated his “beautiful mind”. As Alan expressed to Paul in 2013, I will now wish to him.

Godspeed my brother, Godspeed. See you soon Lindy.

    Love,
    -Jan

  10. Gray Homestead Community Association

    In Memory of Al Sacuta
It is with great sadness that the Gray Homestead Community Association marks the passing of our Rocky View Councillor Al Sacuta.
Al worked tirelessly to improve the rural lifestyle of all Bearspaw residents. He always made time in his busy schedule to attend GHCA annual meetings to present the current state of affairs and answer everyone’s questions.
Most notably was the immediate action he would take to resolve all issues and requests in a style that can only be described as refreshingly open, honest and direct.
Over the years Al also took the time to meet with the GHCA Board of Directors on numerous occasions to guide us regarding issues and plans for the community.
Al Sacuta’s passion for the community he served will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies are extended to his family.
    Sincerely,
GHCA Board of Directors on behalf of all our community members

We are so very sorry to hear about Alan’s passing, and we hope that you are getting through the tragedy of losing two sons in such a short time, both much too young to be lost. You are certainly in our hearts and minds.

  14. Hi Lindy:

So sorry to learn of Al’s passing. We had many fun years working together, both at NovAtel and later IMM. He was both a colleague and friend who I greatly admired. Loved his more humorous moments as well. Greatly missed. My thoughts to you and best wishes moving forward.

  15. River Tominuk

    Hi Lindy

On a whim I thought to contact Al to say Hi and maybe meet for a coffee this May when we will be visiting Alberta. To my surprise and shock and deep disappointment…I find out that that wry sense of humour … and dead pan delivery is no more for us here.

My deepest sympathy . I read a little about his time as councillor and I truly am not surprised by the
depth of his engagement for truth and honesty and fairness.
