Gayle Ross, beloved wife of David Ross of Calgary, passed away peacefully, after forty-three years of a courageous battle with MS, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the age of 65 years.

Gayle was born and raised in Calgary. She attended both Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s Girls High School. Shortly after high school, Gayle was employed with Golden Eagle/Ultramar/Valero Energy as a production accountant. During this time she met the love of her life, Dave. They were married on March 5, 1977. Early in their marriage they loved to go on cruises and travel to their favourite destination, Las Vegas. Gayle loved getting together with family and friends, as well as going out on special date nights with Dave.

Besides her loving husband Dave of forty-one years, Gayle is survived her siblings, Marilyn (Norman) Lippitt, Grant (Rita) Charlebois, Bob Charlebois and their families; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Lynn Ross. She was predeceased by her parents, Byrne and Cecil Charlebois.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church. Special thanks to Gayle’s medical teams who took care of Gayle over the years, Mike Paddock and the wonderful Caregivers from Genuine Home and Health Services; Dr. S Arthur; Dr. D. McGowan and Dr. S. Clinic; AHS Self-Managed Senior’s Health Care; as well as to all of the physicians, nurses, and disciplines who showed fantastic care, compassion and support to Gayle and her family from Unit 93 at the Rockyview general Hospital.
