Dear Lucille, Rick, Shelley and family: our heartfelt and sincere condolence on Johnny’s passing. My first memory of Johnny was me trying to keep up to him as we walked across McMillan’s field to the red brick schoolhouse in Plenty. He was in high school and I was in grade one! A thrill for me and a pain in the ass for Johnny! May he rest in peace..Love Dan and Rose

  2. Dear Lucille, Shelley, Rick and family, sincere condolences on Johnny’s passing. Gwen and I have many wonderful memories of Johnny. We both remember when your family flew down to see us at Marengo, just after Dad also started flying. The two of them talked about farming as well as flying with such appreciation, even as they acknowledged their challenges as we visited on that sunny Sunday afternoon. Thinking of you. Kind regards, Julie and Gwen

  3. Lucille, Shelley Rick and family. Carol and I, along with Jennifer and Colin, want to pass on our sincere condolences as we remember Johnny. Johnny was a fine man and he meant a great deal to our Mom and Dad, Bert and Mary Nell. We only lived in Plenty for 3 years (1958-1961) but you, Lucille, and Johnny became some of Mom and Dad’s very best friends. Johnny had a wonderfully infectious laugh. He loved to joke and tease, but of course he was a hard worker and an excellent farmer. And then there was his keen interest in politics and current affairs. We know you will miss him greatly.
    All our best,
    Gerry and Carol
