Andrew Robson died peacefully but unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2017. Born in Calgary on January 16, 1922, Andy lived a full, rich, and in his own words, “wonderful life”. As a flying officer in World War II, being stationed in England was one of the defining experiences of his life.
Returning to Calgary, he married Margaret Galloway in 1947, and recently celebrated their 70th anniversary. A kind, honourable man of many talents and interests, possessing a superb sense of humour, he loved life, music, gardening, his dogs, people in general, but most of all his family.
Andy (Big Bubo) is survived by his wife Margaret, his daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Forbes, two grandsons, Andrew (Jordi), Peter (Niki) and two great-grandsons, Robson and Andrew who carry on his name.
He was predeceased by his brother William and sister Mary.
