Audrey died peacefully surrounded by loving family on the morning of September 4, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
She had many passions besides her family and her strong faith – including gardening, golfing, bridge club, book club, Teen Challenge, and the Priddis Greens community. Also close to her heart was Compassion Canada… just to name a few. She was loved so much by everyone who was fortunate to know her.
She was predeceased by her father, George Amos Stark in 2003 and her mother, Kathleen Alice Stark in 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Fred; her four children, Nancy (Dean), Bob (Jenny), Peter (Stephanie), and Linda (Dave); her eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, Meagan, Kristen, Ryan, Amelia, Renée, and Charles; and five great- grandchildren, Brendan, Brody, Ryder, Carrie, and Finn; and by her sister Pat Bowers (nee Stark).
Funeral Services will be held at The Anglican Parish of Christ Church (3602 – 8th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Crump Room. Graveside Service to follow at Burnsland Cemetery. If the spirit moves you, please wear something blue – Audrey’s favourite colour.
