  2. Having just read the obituary for Allan Richardson, I express my sincere condolences to Jean and the family. My three children were in Ukrainian dancing and so I got to know Jean and Al for several years. Al was a quiet, caring person and although the world will miss his presence, heaven will gain. Please know many people are sharing in your loss. Pat Dietrich

  3. Dear Jean and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on Allan’s passing. We will always remember him as a kind and gentle person who greatly loved his family and was so proud of his grandchildren. My mother, his Aunt Amy, always spoke fondly of Allan with love and admiration and valued his visits, as did I.

  4. You are not alone in your grief. He will be missed by many. I find myself reflecting upon the sudden loss of my Mom nearly 25 years ago. My heart aches for you as the permanent absence of your husband/father sinks in. I take solace in the belief that my Mom and Uncle Allan are reunited and are catching up as a sister and brother would.

    Dear Jean and family,

Heather has passed on your sad news. We have never had many opportunities to meet, but I know that my parents, Stewart and Amy Miller, were fond of you both, and that Allan will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My first memory of Allan was at Log Valley when we visited as children. He was in the barn, milking a cow–about 12 I would guess. We had a few brief stops at Medicine Hat over the years, and I know you were both in Moosomin for Dad’s funeral. I remember the Log Valley funerals, the last one of which was Maude’s with Allan and Don in attendance. I know that you and your family will have many more happy memories of your husband, father and grandfather. My sympathy to all of you and to the rest of Allan’s first family.
