It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandy Renouf on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the age of 78 years.

Sandy worked tirelessly as an owner and operator in the logging and heavy equipment industry in Newfoundland. He had a love of the outdoors from childhood being in the woods hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding A.T.V.s. Sandy was a known wrestling and boxing fan, he loved to play crib with his daughter and he will be remember by all for his story-telling and outgoing nature. His family and friends will miss his sense of humour and infectious laughter.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Vanessa; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret Young, Isabelle and George Brown; his three brothers and a sister-in-law, Andrew and Renata Renouf, Neil Renouf and Peter Renouf; and numerous extended family members. Sandy was predeceased by devoted wife Ada; his parents; his brother and his four sisters.

In honour of Sandy’s wishes a celebration of his life will be held in Newfoundland at later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice and please take a moment to remember your fond memories with Sandy.
