Condolence from Mel and Sharon Kitzul on November 18th, 2017 8:46 PM

Dear Valerie, Greg, Jim, Linda and Your Families,

Our sympathy to All of You on George’s passing. As we reflect on the 55 plus years we have known him, many memories surface. Never a dull moment when in his presence! Whether it was competitive Gin Rummy day-night marathons in the Weyburn Patch or in later years here in Alberta and the Northern Saskatchewan fishing trips originating in Lethbridge! He always put his ‘verbal spin’ on whatever the scenario! Never at a loss for words. Fun times and great memories!!

Sorry we won’t be able to be with you on Monday.

Mel and Sharon Kitzul

Prayers and condolences for George’s family.

I didn’t know George well, I was only blessed to interact with him on a few occasions; but I know how much he meant to his family. He, along with Valerie, was the glue that held the family together. Pleasant, outgoing and gregarious, George always had a story to tell and will be missed by his family, his friends and his community.

Prayers to everyone.

Dear Valerie and family – we were deeply saddened to hear of George’s passing. He touched so many lives – and of course, will always have a special place in my heart as best man, boss and friend. Both Bryan and I always enjoyed his humour and his colourful stories. The sound of his laughter from 30 years ago still rings in my ears! And, I loved that he fiercely loved his family. With love and deepest sympathies
