QUICKFALL, Joyce Mary (nee Rollings)

October 28, 1923 – Brighton, England
June 6, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Joyce Quickfall of Calgary passed away on June 6, 2018 at the age of 94 years.

Joyce served in the Women’s Royal Naval Service from 1941 to 1945, and then came to Biggar, Saskatchewan as a war bride in 1946. She went on to live in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Yukon, Regina, and Calgary again as an army wife.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Brian (Daphne), her son, Brian (Sharon), and nieces and nephews in Great Britain and the Netherlands.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Raymond, and her son Raymond Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.     She was always witty and polite. She sure loved her sweets!
