PRZYKLENK, Agnes

January 1, 1926 – Rosstal, Kr. Neustadt Germany
September 19, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Canada

On the morning of Tuesday, September 19, 2017 Agnes Przyklenk was reunited with her beloved husband Ernest Przyklenk (d. July 2015).

In addition to being a devote wife, Agnes was proud of her career as a dedicated nurse, first in Germany with the Red Cross and at Bevensen, Kr. Hamburg and, after immigrating to Calgary, at the Bethany Hospital.

Agnes is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karin Przyklenk and Peter Whittaker, by her dear and long-time friend Doris Hunter, and by nieces and nephews in Germany.

As per Agnes’s wishes there will be no service. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

We are grateful to Dr. Cassandra Hoggard and to the nurses and staff at Millrise Long Term Care for their kindness to Agnes during her final months. Agnes was loved, and will live in our hearts and memories.

In living memory of Agnes Przyklenk, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB Telephone: 403-256-9575.
