July 10, 1931 – Ponteix, Saskatchewan
August 15, 2017 – Calgary Alberta

It is with the deepest sorrow that we say “good-bye until we meet again” to our Father Andre Piché, the Patriarch of our family and beloved husband of Pat Piché.

Andre’s life long passion was his career with Trimac Transportation where he had the opportunity to move and travel to many different cities and countries; one highlight being his work in Peru. He began his career as a foreman with Mannix in Banff, Alberta where he met the love of his life Pat on a blind date. As Andre pursued his successful career with Trimac Transportation he and Pat created many life-long friendships.

As the years clicked by Andy and Pat enjoyed their annual vacations to Hawaii and Yuma, Arizona; making memories throughout the years with their children, Joanne, Lizanne and Alain, their beloved grandchildren Bradley, Joanna, Jessica, Kylan, Daniel, Jay and Jana; and many more family and friends.

Special mention should be made of Grandpa’s BBQ breakfasts at the trailer at Glennifer Lake.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at 2:00p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Andre Piché, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB Telephone: 403-256-9575.

I am so sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. I had the pleasure of having Andy as my boss for 8 years at Trimac, and he was so much more than my boss, he was my mentor and friend. He was a great man who was admired by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
I am sorry that I will not be able to be at the funeral on Sunday as I have commitments that I cannot change, but he will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence from Mary Clare Preston on June 3rd, 2018 10:10 PM

Hello, my condolences to the family of Andre and Pat. I did not know them but I did know their son Alain. No disrespect is meant by this message. Only, over the many years since high school, every so often I have looked for any trace of Alain. He was one of my few friends then, and I only know that he passed away shortly after he finished high school. He was a good friend. I wish I knew more. May we all find peace.
