PAUL, Dale Bruce

November 28, 1952 – Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
November 16, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Dale Paul, beloved husband of Peggy Paul (nee Fraser) of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the age of 64 years.

Dale left Saskatchewan at a youthful age and moved to Vancouver before finally settling in Calgary. He had many hobbies that included boating, fishing, playing pool, camping, working on cars and trucks, coaching his kid’s sports teams, and a love for the open road. He had a vast knowledge of construction and mechanics; this included everything from framing custom homes to rebuilding engines. Dale ran his own successful construction company for many years and was well respected by his employees. He had an amazing work ethic and never missed a day on the job site or backed down from a challenging project. Dale was a kind and gentle soul and treated everyone with respect and dignity. He was an amazing husband and father who was always there for his wife and children. He was a patient teacher to his children and he was always ready and willing to give someone a drive or a helping hand. We will remember our husband and father as a strong, honorable man who never complained about anything. He will be greatly missed.

Besides his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Dale is survived by a daughter Sara Paul; three sons and daughters-in-law, Trevor and Heather Paul, Adam Paul and Sandra Abercrombie, and David and Christina Paul; three grandchildren, Ryan, Emmett, and Scarlett. He is also survived by his mother Audrey Paul; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Linda and Fred Forrest, Debbie Paul, Shirley and Ron Dycks, and Carol and Leo Laberg and numerous nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by his father Neil Paul.

There is a gathering for family and friends to celebrate Dale’s life on Sunday, November 26, at 1:00-4:00p.m. at the Sara Paul’s residence. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

In living memory of Dale Paul, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Park Memorial, 5008 ELBOW DRIVE S.W. Calgary, AB, T2S 2L5, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
