  10. To Aileen’s family:

We never met, however I heard about you all lots – she loved you all so much. I first met Aileen at the Sunalta Coffee Walk 4 years ago in 2015, I was 23 and Aileen was 85. We immediately connected and would have tea dates, hangout and just talk about life. Sometimes I would drive her to get groceries or to and from appointments as we lived mere blocks from one another. I had been meaning to reach out in the past couple of months (we lost touch when I move into the Beltline) and tried her phone line a few times to find out it had been disconnected. I looked her up, and am now here. I am heartbroken. She was so amazing. She was like a grandmother to me!
