Kandace Oddson-Pelly, beloved wife of Emmett Pelly of Calgary, AB passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the age of 56 years.

Kandace was born in Kitchener, ON on January 14, 1963. She met Emmett in 1985 and they married on August 31, 1991.

Kandace enjoyed doing crafts and considered herself a “mini Martha Stewart”. She and Emmett loved to travel; they went to Cuba many times and gained many friendships in their travels. Their most memorable trips were when they went to the Oregon Coast and to Alaska.

Kandace was known for always putting everyone else first. She will be most remembered for the kindness and compassion she showed to all that knew her.

Besides Emmett, her loving husband of twenty-seven years, Kandace is survived by her brother Ross, stepsister Beverly, nephew William and his mother Tammy, aunt Doris, and cousins, Marilyn, Leonka, Darryl, Kathy and Donald. She is also survived by her family in Manitoba: her half-sister Robbin and half-brother Michael; her five brothers-in-law, David, Manuel (Charlene), Marvin (Cheryl), Melvin and Arnold; and her sister-in-law Evangelene (Bill); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Kandace was predeceased by her parents Ross and Dorothy; her stepmother Erna, her biological mother Rosemarie and her sister-in-law Lucy.

Kandace loved her dogs as family; she is survived by her dogs, Bear, Peso and Diesel and predeceased by Parker, Ching, Chinook, Yen and Remy.

  3. My wife and I were shocked to hear of Kandace’ passing just this morning.
    I only learned of her passing when I sent a tax related question to her this morning;
    Kandace had done tax work for us for many years. She was always there with answers to our questions and we shared laughter over the years. Our condolences to Emmet, family and friends.
