January 6, 1951 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
June 2, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Bruce Nesbitt passed away on June 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A friend, brother father and husband, he was the anchor of his family as they pursued their education and careers across the world. His greatest pride was their accomplishments, and we live in gratitude for his love, presence and uncompromising dedication.

A master chef, expert skier, hockey player and fisherman, Bruce will be remembered most for his charisma, sense of adventure and vivacious character. His distinguished career as a Landman and business owner of two M&M stores in Calgary underlined his passion for community and success.

He will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and partner of 38 years Dr. Lynn Bosetti; his children Harrison and Philippa; his brothers Bob (Frances), Ben (Susan) and John (Lynette), their children (Ryan, Elijah, Malann and Sarah), Dr. Shelley Bosetti-Piche, Anne Bosetti and his many cherished friends and relatives.

Bruce’s family extends their gratitude for the kindness and care provided by the ICU staff at the Foothills Medical Centre.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Friday June 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at Family Residence, details will be given at the service. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

Lynn and family – so sorry for your loss of such a great family man. I will miss his positive sunny attitude and smile. Bruce, lives in the soul of adventure that thrills us all. Just the other day I remembered Bruce leading ‘the boys’ to a pucker chute at Lake Louise – the point of no return. Deep comradarie with self pride served by Bruce. Cheers to you Bruce Nesbitt.

Condolence from Susan Mcginley on August 6th, 2017 11:23 PM

Hi Lynn and family, I just heard the shocking and sad news that Bruce had passed away in June. I am so sorry. I met Bruce through the M&M world, both being Franchisees for many years. (Airdrie & Creekside)

I will remember Bruce for his sense of humour, compassion towards life and others. He was one of the first people I met when I hung up my nursing cap for a freezer jacket! He welcomed me and was always a phone call away. Such a lovely spirit.

Fondly remembered…

My deepest sympathies.

Sincerely,
Sue McGinley-Brayford

Condolence from Morgy on August 23rd, 2017 8:38 PM

Lynn, Harrison, Philippa… I only heard of Bruce’s passing yesterday. KNOW that any talk around around the arenas, or at home in West Kelowna always began with his cherished family. He, in my mind will always epitomize energy, passion for his family and friends, and an undying love for his life. I am profoundly saddened, and to say the very least, shocked that your husband, father, brother, and true friend to many of us on the hill or at the rinks will no longer make our world a better place by his physical presence, or his endearing smile followed by “exactly”! I will never again hear that word again without a smile creasing my face, and a fond memory of Bruce creasing my my memory.
