  6. Condolences to all Tony’s family and friends; and especially to his son Nathan. Myself and my family met Tony when Nathan was still in diapers. We went through many years of watching a truly loving father care for his son in the best way he knew how, with unstoppable and never ending love. He often told me that is son was the most wonderful, amazing and precious gift that he has ever received in his entire life and you could certainly see that love when the two of them were together.
Tony became a friend of mine that was there for me when “no one else was”. He did a lot of back-breaking work for me and I know he knew how much I appreciated it. We helped one another out over the years plus he even reached out on many occasions to help out my disabled daughter. We have tons of good Tony stories and we worked through the bad ones – right Tony? Hence; staying friends for a very long time. Tony had the heart of a lion and would never go out of his way to be cruel to anyone. Tony believed that if you don’t have anything nice to say about anyone then you should just “NOT say anything” which made him a little mysterious at times.

I’ve been waiting for him to return my recent call to him, so from now on when a call comes in from the Marriott Hotel telling me that I have won a free night’s stay – I will think of Tony finally returning my call! You Tony, will NEVER be forgotten; this death was NOT in your plan but as we have discussed in the past- “often God has different plans for us and there are no options to choose from”.

We will think of you often; i.e. the shed you built for me in my back yard, my pet friendly basement development and the list goes on! I WILL see you in the hereafter – you can’t get rid of me that easy; so save me a heated front row seat in that place we called heaven and say hello to Richard as I know he has saved me a seat too! Love ya lots Tony, now you can REST in peace my friend – no more chores to do on earth so you now have a new job and I hear it is glorious there. I will see you when God picks my time!

My heart and condolences to those near and dear to Tony.
To my nephew Nathan for the loss of his Dad who spent so much time making life fun and playful and full of laughter. I have many fond memories of my girls experiencing countless moments of frivolity and giggles with their Uncle Tony on weekend with their cousin. Laser tag in the condo, wooden train building through the entire house, sledding and snowball fights. Tony was magical and his smile contagious.
Tony’s sweet tooth and candy hiding spots that Melinda and I had good teasing moments with him over, as we were sure to find a Kit-Kat in the strangest of places.
Tony’s being is irreplaceable he was one of a kind.
He will live forever on in the fond memories he created and in his handsome boy.
We will miss you Tony <3
    Elizabeth, Courtney and Paget.
