  5. Martin was a kind and caring man. I recall him occasionally bringing his kids to the office when he was making a brief stop. He was always friendly with his fellow WestJetters and would share some big smiles and his great sense of humour.
Martin prided himself on providing great customer service and representing WestJet to the best of his ability. I send my condolences to Mimi and the family and wish them much comfort in the loss of their husband, father and friend.

  9. It breaks my heart to know that Martin has departed this earthly plane so soon.
He and I also worked in the WestJet call centre together for many years, being on the same French team. I learned better French sitting nearby him and recall him reading the Bible at his desk even during lunch breaks.
He knew that I travelled to BC often to see family and was eager to hear if I was able to bring back extra fruit or even fish that I could perhaps share. (Sometimes I had the former.) He was always so appreciative of anything for his family.
I even received New Year’s blessings from him just on Jan. 1st….always thinking of others. Rest in peace, Martin. My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family, Mimi.

  10. My deepest sympathies to you Mimi and your entire family and to all your friends and work colleagues at Westjet.

I have so many great memories sitting next to Martin at the call center. I have so many good memories about times when Martin was there for me, simply by taking the time to listen and talk with me. I had the chance and pleasure of being invited to meals and being around the table with his family.

    Chantale

  12. I cannot begin to express how sorry I am for your loss. Martin was a great man and a valued friend of mine. He was passionate about his beliefs and stood behind them. He was always appreciative and grateful for everything, namely his family who he was very proud of. He had a kind and generous soul. I will never forget his voice or his excellent sense of humor. His outgoing personally rubbed off on everyone around him. The world has lost a truly great person with a heart of gold, his spirit will live on in all of us.
    Please accept my deepest condolences.
