MUNDIE, Donald “Don” Lawrence

April 28, 1940 – Fernie, British Columbia
May 27, 2018 – Daysland, Alberta

Don beloved husband of Marie Mundie of Calgary, passed away on May 27, 2018 at the age of 78 years.

Don was employed in the Oil & Gas Industry for many years. He was a member of CAPL for which he just received his fifty year pin. He was an active member of the Bearspaw Lions Club and the Bow Valley Model Railroad Club, Calgary. He was also an active member of the A&W morning coffee club. Don (Old Papa) enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play their sports. He brought tears of laughter to everyone at his own expense. He will be forever in your hearts and will be sadly missed.

Don is survived by his wife Marie of fifty six years and his three daughters Barb (Art Bonner), Brenda (Duane Robbins)and Lisa Harvey and Wayne Harvey; five grandchildren Erin, Brittany, Shelby, Katelyn, Jon; one great-grandson Nixon. He also leaves behind two sisters; Margaret Lajeunesse and Heather Monkmon along with numerous nieces and nephews. Also his extended Evans family, Burn, Alec, John and Gordon.

Don was predeceased by his brother Louis Mundie, extended family Bridget and Colin Evans.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W., Calgary, AB), on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
