December 4, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Ann Meiring of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Ann was born in Pretoria, South Africa. As a young radiographer she met Peter at Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto. Ann is survived by her loving husband, Peter; their daughters, Karin Karnezos (Peter), Sally Thorne (Tim), Katherine Williams (Jonathan) and Nicola Roberts (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Laura, Thomas (Julia), James (Jacqueline), Matthew, Peter (Joanna), Emily, Anna, Elizabeth, Katherine, Tom and Sophie; and her great grandchildren, Harriet, Lucy, Lawrence and Emily.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Magnhild Katherine and Johan Christopher Jorgensen Norman.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (7 Sunmills Green S.E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.

In living memory of Ragnhild Meiring a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB, T2S 2L5, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
