Elma, beloved wife of the late Allan McLachlan of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 88 years.
Elma, mother, grandmother and certified travel counselor, had many hobbies which included traveling, knitting, crosswords, piano, reading and her passion of dogs. She was a loving mother, sister, Auntie and Nana.
Elma is survived by two daughters, Gail and Alex Bordeniuk, Sandy and Jim Vanderveen; two grandchildren, Kira Bordeniuk and Devon Vanderveen; two sisters Sylvia and John Schmidt and Carole Reddekopp and numerous relatives in Australia, Scotland and Canada. Elma was predeceased by her parents.
A Celebration of Elma’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception immediately following service.
