McKIE, Malcolm “Neil” Burns

November 23, 1933 – Tuffnell, Saskatchewan
June 13, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta

Neil McKie, beloved husband of Heather “Darlene” McKie of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the age of 84 years.

Neil was a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in 1959. He spent a good portion of his career working for the Federal Department of Agriculture in the Federal Meat Inspection program.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter Jackie (Dave), Janet (Jason); grandchildren Janet, Oliver, Lux and Emma; and brother, Cameron McKie of Foam Lake, Saskatchewan.

Neil was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Ellen (Diamond) McKie, siblings William, Agnes, Margaret and Winnifred.

A private family service will be held in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
